After much prayer and preparation, we’re excited to announce that in 2026 we’ll be launching The Outpour Church in the Southeast Tampa Bay area. In the months leading up to launch, our family will be walking alongside a growing team, building relationships, and creating spaces for people to encounter God’s love.
For years, we’ve devoted our lives to ministry—pastoring, teaching, mentoring leaders, serving the local church, and traveling globally to bring relief and revival. Along the way, we’ve seen God move in powerful ways: lives healed, families restored, and people stepping into their God-given purpose.
But through it all, our heart for the local church has never wavered. It’s in the church where our own lives were transformed, where we experienced God’s call, and where we discovered the power of authentic community. Now, we believe it’s time to create that same kind of space in the Southeast Tampa Bay area—a place where people can be filled, grow, and overflow.

What is The Outpour Church?
The Outpour is more than a church—it’s a movement to see people, families, and communities transformed by the love of God. Inspired by Acts 2 and the promise that God will pour out His Spirit on all people, The Outpour is where God’s presence, people, and purpose come together.
Just as water refreshes and overflows, we believe God’s Spirit brings life, healing, and freedom wherever He moves. At The Outpour, you’ll find a community eager to know God, committed to authentic relationships, and passionate about living out the purpose He’s placed inside them.
Our mission is to build a multi-generational, multi-ethnic, life-giving church that brings revival to Riverview, FL and the Southeast Tampa Bay area. Wherever you are on your journey, there’s a seat for you at The Outpour. Together, we believe what begins here will overflow into our homes, schools, workplaces, and beyond.

The Outpour is a life-giving, Spirit-filled Christian church passionate about helping people experience God’s presence, find real community, and discover their God-given purpose. We believe in the authority of Scripture, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
We are a Christian non-denominational church.
We are partnered with the Association of Related Churches (ARC) for training, coaching, and launch support. ARC has helped plant more than 1,000 churches worldwide and continues to support church planters with proven systems and relational coaching.
We are preparing to launch in Fall 2026 in the Riverview/Southeast Tampa Bay area.
Interest gatherings, worship nights, team meetings, and training events will begin throughout 2026, leading up to launch day.
The Outpour is led by Pastor DJ and Denice Bagwell, who have served in ministry, global missions, outreach, leadership development, and youth and family ministry for many years.
In addition to ministry experience, both DJ and Denice have worked for international corporations in the business world, bringing valuable leadership, organizational, and team-building experience to The Outpour Church.
Our name comes from Acts 2 - God’s promise to pour out His Spirit on all people. We believe the Church should reflect that outpouring by embracing men and women, every generation, and every ethnicity. The Outpour will be a church not only receives from God, but also generously pours out love, compassion, and care into our community.
Yes. Outpour Kids will create a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children to learn about Jesus in age-appropriate ways. We will have dedicated spaces for nursery, preschool, and elementary-aged children.
The best step is joining our Launch Team — a group of people helping build the church from the ground up. You don’t need experience; just a willing heart. Opportunities include worship, kids, hospitality, prayer, outreach, media, events, and the Sunday church setup.
No. We provide training, mentorship, and community. Many people step into their gifts for the first time during a church plant, and God uses that season in a powerful way.
The Outpour is funded through the generosity of individuals, families, and partner churches who believe in the mission. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, every gift is stewarded with integrity, transparency, and purpose.
